White Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies

Nutella = Hazelnut chocolate goodness! I’ve been trying to find ways to mix it in with my baking and I came up with this recipe. I love white chocolate chip cookies and I love Nutella so I combined them! =) I didn’t mix in macadamia nuts because I’m not too fond of nuts in my cookies. Plus, I have friends that are highly allergic to nuts so I that’s another reason I don’t use them. The last cookie recipe I baked, Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Cookies, involved nutella being in the middle of the cookie cup but this time it’s mixed in with the cookie itself. Enjoy!

White Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies

What you need:

nutella (This is the hazelnut and chocolate spread.)

3 sticks of unsalted butter (melted)

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 cups flour

white chocolate chips (I only used half a bag)

aluminum foil

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Mix your melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract and flour by hand. I like mixing with my hands more than a spatula because you can really feel the consistency of your cookie dough.

3. Mix and knead dough thoroughly. If the dough feels dry add a little bit more butter or milk. Be careful not to add too much.

4. Mix in your white chocolate chips.

5. Mix in about 4-5 spoonfuls of Nutella.

6. Roll the dough into small 1 inch balls. Press lightly in the palm of both your hands to flatten a little.

7. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

8.  Bake for about 20-25 minutes. If you want these cookies to me soft and chewy, remove them when the middle portion isn’t thoroughly cooked yet. Over baking them makes the cookies harder.

9. Set somewhere to cool and enjoy! I love my cookies with a nice cold glass of milk. =D

  1. How funny–I just read this recipe for Caramel Nutella Crisps from another blogger: http://nutmegnanny.wordpress.com/2009/12/22/caramel-nutella-crisps/ . Nutella must have been in the air in December! Yours sound yummy. Did you like them or the cinnamon ones better?

  2. I actually liked these more even though they were both good. This one was sweeter. =)

  3. [...] yummiest! I thought of this recipe because I had leftover white chocolate chips from when I made my White Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies and I also had a coffee liqueur left over. I didn’t want to waste it and I thought, why not [...]
